Construction and Validation of the Teachers' Motivation Questionnaire (TMQ): A Detailed Exploration

The teachers' motivation is crucial to the institutional value and accomplishment of goals; it greatly influences success institutions, particularly in educational institutions. This study aimed develop validate a questionnaire assess named as Teachers' Motivation Questionnaire (TMQ). contained two dimensions provided by Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory (i.e., Intrinsic Extrinsic Motivation). preliminary draft was created after focus group discussion on forty-four (44) item, five (5) point Likert Scale. After ensuring content face validity having items reviewed experts removing any with CVR scores less than 0.42, questionnaire's were whittled down just thirty (30). Two hundred twenty-six teachers working for school education department participated pilot revised questionnaire. data processed using PLS Smart version 4, which determined validity, reliability, model fit. unsuitable items, reduced eighteen (18) items. AVE values extrinsic 0.575 > 0.5, while intrinsic 0.633> 0.5. Fornell-Lacker criterion (0.828) greater correlations other latent components, 0.778 0.828, respectively. Heterotrait-Monotrait ratio (HTMT) 0.895 0.9, considered good. Cronbach alpha 0.917 0.7, 0.916 0.7. Similarly, composite reliability (CR) 0.931 0.7 0.932 So, (TMQ) internally consistent, valid, reliable. overall study's findings approved TMQ investigate motivation.
